Case Of Wine - A Taste Of Devon & Cornwall

A Taste of Devon & Cornwall

Sample the best of Devon & Cornwall Wines.

3 bottle case

So many wines and not sure where to start, well this Devon and Cornwall taster case offers three of the best wines the South west has to offer.

For the white wines, we start with the Lyme Bay Shoreline which is a crisp Bacchus blend which you are sure to love if you like a typical New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc (especially Cloudy Bay fans). Next up is the Sharpham Dart Valley Reserve. This fresh and fruity and we recommend keeping a bottle in the fridge at all times such is the ease which this can be enjoyed.

For the reds, we've chosen the Knightor Carpe Diem from Devon - a recent addition and fast becoming a team favourite. A great example of an English red wine, packed with light juicy red berry flavours, it's easy drinking and will keep you reaching for more.

So dip your toe into the salty waters and enjoy your first experience of some truly remarkable wines that will open your eyes to what the South West can really do!

CUT TO THE CASE

We travelled extensively across Devon & Cornwall finding the hidden gem vineyards that are producing some of England's finest wines. Here is what to expect from this brilliant taster case.

LYME BAY SHORELINE

  • White
  • ABV 11.5%
  • Devon

We love this wine, refreshing, fun and easy drinking. This is now the favourite wine of the CEO’s wife and a go-to white in the house, ousting the previous favourite - Cloudy Bay from New Zealand.

KNIGHTOR CARPE DIEM RED

  • Red
  • ABV 11.5%
  • Cornwall

An easy drinking medium bodied, food friendly red with good tannins and structure. This wine had us captivated just by the colour. Pleased to say it tasted just as good as it looked!

SHARPHAM DART VALLEY RESERVE

  • White
  • ABV 11%
  • Devon

Recommended to us by a wine blogger who contacted us on Instagram. Another white that ticks all the boxes at The English Vine. Refreshing with good acidity. This wine will not be hanging around long!
