Plum pudding, spice nose. Cherry palate, quite rich with a savoury note. This impressive wine has considerable depth and subtlety, making it an excellent accompaniment to a meal or simply for drinking with friends.
What does the English Vine say?
We were told to let this breath by the vineyard to fully enjoy the taste of Somborne Red. For once we did what we were told and it paid off resulting in a thoroughly enjoyable wine. Another example of how English Reds have a unique selling point of being light, fruity and full of fun.
