The Winter Warmer Red Case
As much as we'd love to advocate how great an English rosé can be during the colder months, especially during a crisp blue-sky winter's day, we do clamber most winter days for a hearty red, especially when the clouds come over and the cold sets in which is exactly why we created this case.
Tried and tested by the team at the English Vine these are among our favourite English red wines that we can vouch for in the fullest. A selection made from different grape varieties so you can explore what the UK has to offer. The Sharpham Pinot Noir is fruity and smooth, the Winbirri (aka the Norfolk Rioja) is a favourite of our CEO and the New Hall Purlai is made from two grapes most people won't have come across (acolon & schonburg) but trust us when we say it works with its bold fruit flavours. St Edmunsbury red is herbaceous and would be perfect for a winter hot pot and the Lychgate red is an easy drinking blend from one of the top winemakers in England. Finally the Trevibban Mill Black Ram is a smooth fruity and well balanced wine and goes especially well with a bar of white Toblerone (a little known fact).
So, sit back, grab a good book, light the fire and settle in with this little lot.
