Vine Fresh Case 1.0

Vine Fresh Case 1.0

The latest we've fallen in love with.

We continue to explore the UK in our quest to bring you Vine-Os the best wines England and Wales have to offer, and recently we have hit the gold mine! This case is a selection of some of the great new wines we have found from crisp white wines to the lush reds.

From one of Kent's oldest vineyards we have Biddenden Ortega. A smooth white wine with more body than your typical English Bacchus. Next up is the Heppington Pinot Gris, you may have heard us rave about this because the label is just stunning! They say never judge a wine by the label but in this case it is hard not too and much like the label the wine is excellent, win win! We are already a fan of Sharpham wines but we would like to introduce you to their brand new rosé, a fruity, fresh and fun wine we think you'll love.

Great red wine is a rare find in the UK but we have found you a few more to enjoy, including the Somborne Valley red - let this one breath before you drink it - trust us! The second red in the case is the Litmus Pinot Noir, move over Burgundy Pinot Noir, England has arrived!

And of course everyone needs some bubbles in their life. You've heard us talk about the Champagne Beater, well Westwell Blanc de Noir is the Champagne Beater 2.0. A sensational sparkling and one we have had to hide from Neil before he drinks it all so order quick before he finds the stash! In all a great place to start for the latest and greatest wines out of the UK.

Our latest and greatest. This is what we've got stocked in our wine rack.

We had heard great things about this wine from Biddenden and it did not disappoint. Made from 100% Ortega it is more full bodied than most whites from England. A lush white wine that would pair perfectly with your Sunday roast chicken.

The debut wine from Heppington Vineyard in Kent and it is delicious. With a fresh, crisp taste this wine reminds of a Spanish white perfect with seafood. The flavours develop as the wine gets warmer so take the wine out of the fridge 10 minutes before you drink it, trust us on this one.

  • Rose
  • ABV 11.5%
  • Devon

This rosé from Sharpham in Cornwall is an all year round crowd pleaser. Fresh and fruity we would recommend this with homemade pizza or Thai food with a little spice.

  • Red
  • ABV 11.5%
  • Hampshire

We were told to let this breath by the vineyard to fully enjoy the taste of Somborne Red. For once we did what we were told and it paid off resulting in a thoroughly enjoyable wine. Another example of how English Reds have a unique selling point of being light, fruity and full of fun.

  • Surrey

We had heard so many great things about the Pinot Noir from Litmus. So we tried it and were not disappointed. So now it's your turn to try out this smooth velvety wine. Reminiscent of a French Pinot but better in so many ways.

  • Bubbles
  • ABV 12%

"Wow", the first not-so technical words uttered by our Founder, Neil when he first tasted this. He then finished his glass and said "this is amazing!". We were then not surprised to see him at the warehouse a few days later when this arrived and put several cases into his car never to be seen again.
