What do they say?
Pale gold, great clarity and tiny bubbles. Aromas of fresh melon, meyer lemon, proving bread, sweet pea flowers & vanilla followed by fresh apricot and melon flavours on the palate and lovely tiny bubble texture. Apricot and bread flavours continue on the long finish. The wine has all the balance and structure needed to age for many years to come.
What does the English Vine say?
Does anyone remember 2009? It started on a Thursday, Barack Obama became President of America, Norway won the Eurovision song contest, and, and... well not much else to be honest, except for this. Nyetimber produced this incredible vintage. Highly recommend doing a horizontal tasting with the Nyetimber Classic Cuvee. Same grape and wines but you will discover the impact of the weather.
