What do they say?
This red wine from the base of the Ventoux is a true expression of the region's old Grenache vines, some over a century old. This Grenache is composed of several plots with different terroirs (clay-limestone, loamy, and sandy). This allows for a wine with a nice balance of the different characteristics of each terroir. The grapes are harvested when overripe, to achieve optimal phenolic, tannic, and colour quality. When tasted, this over ripeness is felt through a rich aromatic profile and significant volume.
What does The English Vine say?
When we first got to taste the final wine after months of hard work we were in love, it was like fireworks went off in our mouths. The wine is a bold and rich with concentrated flavours of dark berries, cherries, and savoury notes of cured meats and spice. The layers of flavours and boldness had us dancing at the base of the Ventoux (and yes we do have video evidence). This bottle is like the James Bond of wines - suave, complex, and irresistible. It is our type of wine, easy drinking with a lot of fun. We are very proud of this and hope you enjoy it to.

To preserve the grape variety's typical characteristics, the wine is vinified in concrete tanks for about 1 month. There is a long and gentle infusion of the grapes into the flavour of the wine. the wine is then aged for 1 year before.
