4 bottle case
Ever wondered how English sparkling wine compares to Champagne? Well, we decided to find out.
Neil our Founder and Chief Trouble Maker, alongside industry experts did a comprehensive tasting of four, readily available, affordable English sparkling wines and compared them to Champagne houses such as Moet, Veuve Clicquot etc. The results, well, it even surprised us. English Sparkling Wine came first, second and third during the blind tasting. This changed when the name of the wines were mentioned to the participants - it's rather remarkable what a healthy marketing budget will do.
So, these delicious and affordable English Sparkling wines have now rightly won the title of 'Champagne Beaters' and can take enormous pride as now being internationally recognised and enjoyed. Now it's your turn to find out.
