What do they say?
The wine is a light gold colour with enticing aromas of citrus and stone fruits. There is a lovely complexity on the palate with an array of fresh fruit flavours, soft butter notes and a hint of almond followed by a generous and well-balanced finish.
What does the English Vine say?
This was not what we were expecting. This is the fast guy on the rugby team mixed with the biggest guy to create the ultimate player - imagine if Jonah Lomu was English and a wine (if only!). With this wine you have the power of the oak (the big guy) combined with delicious and delicate citrus fruit flavours (the fast guy). This is a chardonnay with a difference. Go on give it a go.
